Puerto Rican Food

This still life series revolves around the Puerto Rican cuisine. Food is a really important part of many cultures. Food represents community, home, and comfort too many different cultures. Growing up in Puerto Rico I have a special connection to food as we would always eat dinner as a family almost every night. Food is also heavily present during holidays and other events. I wanted to celebrate my culture’s food and showcase how delicious it looks!
